Sunday, April 5, 2009

Now that the netbook fever is over (at least until Window's 7 comes out) manufacturers can finally get back to making real computers. MSI has already done that with their new GX733 gaming systems which is a variation of the GT725.

This gaming system is wrap ed in a 17-inch WUXGA screen that boasts AMD's new Turion X2 Ultra dual-core mobile CPU as well as 2GB of DDR2. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 makes the cut (boasting 512MB of GDDR3) and up to 500GB SATA hard drive with options for Blu-Ray optical drive.

2.0 Megapixel camera, 4-in-1 multi card reader, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI / VGA out and six or nine cell battery.

Intel has put the kibosh in pricing and availability but you know these things usually go. Within a week or so we'll find out.
