We really don't get the big deal with "special edition" version of basic or midrange laptops. Give us a special edition Mac or Voodoo PC and we'll gobble it up. But with all the netbook news around we're happy to be dealing with real laptops for a change.
This version of Dell's highly affordable Studio 15 series line comes in a "Black Vapor" paint job as well as Dual Core Pentium processors or Core 2 Duo processors. 1440 x900 LED-backlit displays and up to 4GB of RAM as well as a 320GB HDD and ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics are all options for you to choose from.
You're probably guessing the price, and while it has gone up a bit its still way in the price range of Dell's targeted customers with a $799, $849 and $949 price tags.
