Nearly a year ago we got wind of Intel's new Moblin OS that is supposed to be bundled with its Atom and Core Duo 2 processors. Well the custom Linux build that is based of Fedora is available albeit the Alpha version and can be loaded onto your Acer Aspire One, Dell Mini or Eee PC. That is if you're interested in living without WiFi.

So far things look pretty good but we're ever so skeptical to see how the mass public will take this as Linux netbooks have a 60% higher return rate than their Window's XP counterparts.
In any case, if you're the experimental mind you can go and get your copy and demo it. Just remember that you'll be out of wireless streaming of YouTube as long as Moblin is installed.
You can always wait for the final version that is yet to be announced though.
