Gateway’s new MD Series notebook computers are optimized for entertainment on the go and are available for purchase in Canada as an affordable solution of $749.99.
Canadians can benefit from the latest multimedia technologies accessible on the 15.6-inch display, while remaining in the fashion trends with a stylish looking portable computer coming in Burgundy and Black.
As I was saying, the new Gateway MD Series notebooks sport a 15.6-inch screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, which displays clear images and vivid colors. There’s also the option of connecting the laptop to a standard TV panel for larger views in High Definition, via the HDMI 1.3 port.
To enhance the overall elegant look, Gateway added the Illuminated Multimedia Touch Controls for instant access to the favorite applications and media controls.
Inside, the new MD notebooks are powered by the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics with DirectX 10 support and no less than 512MB dedicated memory, supporting cool 3D effects during gaming. In addition, there’sa built-in 1.3MP web camera for video conferences, Wireless N high-speed Internet connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet for creating a local network, optional AMD or Intel processors, up to 500GB of storage capacity, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, Blu-ray optical drive, optional DVD Double Layer with LabelFlash technology, and a 6-cell Li-Ion battery.
