Asus S121 12? Small Notebook Computer with Swarovski Crystals

For style-conscious computer users, but mostly dedicated to Asus Eee PC fans, Asus’ new laptop model introduced at CES 2009 is its most advanced small computer to date, featuring improved support for multi-tasking, productivity-focused enhancements, and power-saving elements, all packed in a 12.1-inch unit sporting elegant CRYSTALLIZED - Swarovski Elements crystals.


Asus S121 was created based on the Eee PC S101 netbook computer and the style elements include the glossy brown Infusion finish, Swarovski crystals embedded into the metallic hinges, and small internal components that enable the small and lightweight form factor.


The 12.1-inch display features LED backlight, while the computer brings up to 250GB of storage capacity, Solid State Drive with optional 512GB capacity, the Super Hybrid Engine that controls power requirements efficiently increasing the battery life, 1.33GHz processing speeds via the Intel Atom Z520 processor, up to 2GB of system memory, support for external optical drives, built-in 1.3MP web camera with array microphone, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth, and a 4-cell Polymer battery which makes the Asus S121 a 1.45-Kg portable computer.


As the operating system you may choose between a GNU Linux, Windows XP and Windows Vista Home Basic, depending on the total amount of system memory you opt for.
