The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4600 series graphic cards for notebook computers are designed to enable High Definition entertainment, support for Microsoft DirectX 10.1, up to 1GB of graphics memory, 7.1 surround sound and multiple DisplayPort connections. In conclusion, the new mobile cards produce outstanding graphics at low power consumption.
The world’s first notebook computers equipped with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4600 GPU are Asus N81Vp and Asus N51Tp, both showcased at the Customer Electronics Show 2009 in Las Vegas.
In addition to the ATI graphics power, they come with the Super Hybrid Engine, built-in Express Gate operating system and the SmartLogon facial recognition system. The Super Hybrid Engine is capable of automatically allocating power in order to save up to 35% battery life, while the Express Gate is a smart operating system that allows you to access your favorite applications in a matter of seconds.
