Alienware has added the the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3600M video card to the Area-51 m15x high performance notebook.
The world’s first 15.4-inch laptop with the Quadro FX 3600M is aimed at on-the-go digital content professionals that use CAD, DCC and scientific applications.
Selection of the 3600M with 512MB of video memory instead of the default NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256MB adds $600 to the overall price of the notebook.
Alienware will soon offer the Quadro FX 3600M option in the Area-51 m17x 17-incher, according to the press release.
