Toshiba Laptops

After reading the specification lists I can say that the new notebooks introduced by Toshiba a few days ago are all powerful high-end models. Let me tell you what impressed me.
Toshiba said that the Qosmio G55, Qosmio X305 and Qosmio F55 have Quad Core High Definition processors, gaming grade graphics and GPS module built-in.
"The Qosmio has long been the standard of excellence in the multimedia laptop space, in both styling and entertainment capabilities," said Jeff Barney, vice president and general manager, Digital Products Division, Toshiba America Information Systems. "In an effort to take this standard to the next level for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts alike, the three new Qosmio models have been tailored specifically towards their personal interests, while staying true to the incredible user-experience that the Qosmio family is known for."
Toshiba Qosmio G55 is characterized by the fact that it is the world’s first notebook computer to feature a parallel media co-processor based on the Cell processor technology created by Toshiba, Sony and IBM, being used in the Sony PlayStation 3 and supercomputers. Along with the TOSHIBA Quad Core HD Processor that boosts the transcoding speed up to 10 times faster when burning DVD videos in MPEG2 file format, there is the large HDD drive storage of 500GB, an impressive 18.4-inch TruBrite wide display with High Definition support.

Now let’s see the Toshiba Qosmio X305, a gaming notebook sporting a 17.1-inch HD display with TruBrite technology, powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX GPU with 1GB VRAM graphics memory, dual hard drives with 400GB storage capacity, and DDR3 RAM memory. This model comes in the Rogue design featuring the cool Toshiba Fusion finish.
Toshiba Qosmio F55 has a 15.4-inch HD display with TruBrite and is designed for gaming. It’s graphics are powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 9700 GTS, while other cool features include a built-in GPS receiver, and the Garmin mapping software.
All the three new Toshiba laptops from the Qosmio family have some common features such as the REGZA LINK HDMI technology, which allows you to configure more devices simultaneously and to control REGZA LINK enabled devices with a single remote. Other common features include the Fusion finish, Feathertouch multimedia buttons, flush-mounted Touchpad, high-speed eSATA port, Harman Kardon high-fidelity bass reflex speakers, and built-in subwoofer.

They are not available yet as Toshiba prepared them for later this summer.
