I don’t know what explains the price of $1,671.55 for a Frontier FRNL laptop. Is it the design, the split-resistant keyboard type, the 120Kg of weight withstand, or the 75cm drop withstand in laboratory tests?

It surely isn’t about the Intel A110 processor with 800Mhz speed, the 1024MB of DDR2 RAM memory or the 80GB HDD storage capacity.

It seems quite expensive for an entry-level laptop computer featuring a 4 hours 3-cell battery with 6-cell optional, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi module, LAN, modem, 3 USB ports, a 4-in-1 card reader, integrated speaker and Microsoft Windows XP operating system pre-installed.

Frontier FRNL measures 296 x 209 x 30.8 mm at a weight of 1249 grams and comes in a black casing.

It is lightweight and slim enough to look professional but the performance doesn’t explain its cost.
