ACER ASPIRE 5920 REVIEW

Acers new machine is designed my BMW’s best designers still I am not sure if they did a good enough job.

Fantastic and terrible design
Some people say that you can se this machine is made of high quality just by looking at it. Other people say they don’t know what the designers was thinking when they made this machine.

Good performance
When it comes to performance most people agree that this is a good machine. This is one of Acers new machines which are using the new Santa Rosa platform. This makes the machine faster and better graphic. Acer Aspire 5920 is meant to be a multimedia machine and our tests shows us that this machine is good both for movies and games.

Screen resolution could have been better
The 15 inch screen comes with a resolution of 1280x800 something we think is quite low for a new machine as this. The screen is still okay especially since Acer is using a Nvidia 8600GT graphic card with 256MB memory in it.

You can order HD-DVD
You can order this machine with HD-DVD player instead of the standard DVD-RW player. I doubt this machine is worth HD-DVD since the screen resolution is so bad.

Sensitive keyboard and mouse
This machine comes fully with many wireless facilities and it got 4 USB ports. The keyboard and the mouse pad are very sensitive, but the sound of the speakers for this machine was surprisingly good. The battery lasted 3 hours and 30 minutes when we did a movie test. This should be enough time to look maybe 2 movies before it dies.
