Sony Laptops
As you probably know already, I have a weakness for leather. Despite that, I wouldn't go as far as having a leather laptop. No, not even fake leather, but if you're Crocodile Dundee, I guess you'll enjoy the Sony Vaio Type C...because this time, "C" comes from "Crocodile," and not something else!
As you can see above, the Sony VAIO Type C looks...well...I don't know what to say. Really, why in the world would somebody need a "Crocodile laptop," apart from being different, cool, feeling a few steps above the others, and so on? I guess those are good reasons for a lot of people, but I can't see any practical one, at least from my point of view!
To make Greenpeace activists happy, Sony is delivering the VAIO C textures as "Pink Crocodile," "Red Crocodile," and "Brown Crocodile," so no animals have been hurt during the manufacturing process of these gadgets - they are simply covered in plastic and silicon, but some people could get fooled by their looks.
Pricing? A bit over $1,000, and hardware specs are about the same as current VAIO P models. Unfortunately, the "Crocodiles" are only going to hit the Japanese market, so if you can't get there or find someone to send one Sony VAIO Type C to you...you'd better start hunting pink crocodiles!
