HP Pavilion dv2 Ultraportable Launched

Hewlett-Packard has released the HP Pavilion dv2, an ultraportable notebook based on AMD’s new platform called Yukon.

Measuring under 1-inch thick and weighing at 3.95 pounds, the Pavilion dv2 (model dv2-1030us) packs a 12.1-inch 1280×800 LED backlight display, the Neo MV40 CPU at 1.6GHz, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410 512MB discrete graphics, 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, and a 6-cell battery. The laptop has no built-in optical drive.

Other features include a 92% of full-size keyboard, built-in web camera, 802.11n wireless, Ethernet LAN, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB ports, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.

The HP Pavilion dv2-1030us runs Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS and has the HP Espresso Imprint Finish.

Its available now for $749.99 through the HP website.
