Its quite funny that no company can keep their secrets safe. As secretive as Apple is, you still have individuals bent on leaking everything the company ever has planned. So we're not too surprised to see DigiTimes and Comemrcial Times reporting that Asus will be bringing new netbooks to play in April.
According to the former, Asus will be launching its super-thin Eee PC in April followed by the Eee PC S101. Both systems promise to stay clear of the average netbook and be a lot easier to carry. Prices will start at $486 for the Eee PC and $699 for the S101.
The former netbook will be named the Shell and as the name implies, we're guessing this has more to do with design than performance.
And in case you're wondering, no that is not a picture of the netbook. Neither does using the netbook attract girls like the one you see. We just needed a space filler until the blurry cam does its thing and sends us some pics of the yet to be released system.
