ASUS CONCEPT FOLD/UNFOLD LAPTOP COMING LATER THIS YEAR

If it had been any other source other then the VP or CEO himself we would have said take this with huge grains of salt. Anyways that cool Origami inspired laptop design from Asus is actually coming.

That is according to Asus CEO Jerry Shen. What is more interesting is that he actually gives a launch date (period to be exact) as well as the median price for said notebook.

According to Jerry the Fold/Unfold laptop will be around for the holiday season (September or October 2009) and will fall within the $1000 to $1500 price range.


We're not saying anything but believe you me, this is something to hold Jerry's feet to the fire about. Its about time we see some radical change in the laptop industry. Laptops without removable batteries and ultra-portables so thin they can give you a hair cut are not gonna cut it. (No offense to you Apple).
