MSI Announces X-Slim X320 Thin & Light Notebook

Micro-Star Int’l announced yesterday the MSI X-Slim X320, a 13.4-inch thin-and-light notebook that reportedly features Intel’s Atom CPU.
According to the company, the overall thickness of the 2.87-pound X-Slim Series X320 is as small as 1.98 cm, with the thinnest part being only 6 mm.
A post on Engadget Chinese says the laptop is based on Intel’s Menlow platform with the Atom Z530 CPU at 1.6GHz. The display uses LED backlight and has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
Other specs include up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 2.5-inch hard drive, 802.11n wireless support, Bluetooth and mobile broadband connectivity.
MSI says the laptop features a 4-cell or 8-cell battery for up to 10 hours of operation between charges.
MSI’s X-Slim X320 is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of this year for about $800.
