Lenovo has just released a bunch of new high-end computers including several lightweight laptop computers, the IdeaPad S10 netbook with enhancements and an all-in-one desktop PC solution called IdeaCentre A600. You’ll have the chance to read about these in the following articles.

First we’ll dedicate this one to the Lenovo IdeaPad Y650, a new notebook prepared for release in stores during March and available at a starting price of $1,199, which increases depending on your chosen configuration.

It is a 16-inch portable computer with High Definition support weighs only 5.6 pounds at 1-inch thickness, which makes it one of the thinnest and lightest models available on the market today.
While maintaining these design characteristics, the new Lenovo technologies allow you to add up to 500GB of hard drive storage capacity and up to 4GB of DDR3 memory for the system.

Other common features of the new 4 laptops introduced in the Y series include the NVIDIA GFX graphics card, Dolby Home Theater surround sound, the Lenovo OneKey Theater software with direct access to the display and sound settings, and the Lenovo Desktop Navigator that allows you to switch between applications by using the touch-sensitive slide bar.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y650 is a high-end notebook designed for entertainment, which comes with high-performance JBL speakers, ambient light sensor that adjusts the screen’s brightness depending on the surrounding light levels, and the VeriFace face recognition technology that grants access to the computer only to the authenticated users.

In addition, the OneKey Rescue System from Lenovo is enabled in all the four new lightweight laptop computers and is meant to help you retrieve data after system failures and virus attacks.
