HP Mini 1000 Mi Mini Notebook Computer Showcased at CES

HP Mini 1000 Mi Edition mini notebook computer introduced last year and available for the US customers, is optimized for mobile Internet with lots of cool features meant to enhance the user’s experience. Such features include a Linux-based operating system developed by HP with easy access to communication application, social media networking and multimedia content.


For connectivity it provides an Ethernet jack, two USB ports for peripherals, Wi-Fi module for wireless Internet access, as well as optional Bluetooth for short-range wireless transfers with other compatible devices.




The HP Mini 1000 Mi is available in several configuration options at a low starting price of $329.99 running with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor.


It sports an 8.9-inch widescreen LED BrightView display of 1024 x 600 pixels, but you can also opt for the 10.1-inch SD LED BrightView screen version with a resolution of 1024 x 576 pixels.


The mini notebook computer has 512MB DDR2 memory with the possibility to add up to 2GB, Wireless G module, a 3-cell Li-Ion battery, 2-in-1 card reader, built-in stereo speakers, built-in HP Mini web camera, and the Microsoft Works 9.0 productivity software pre-loaded.
