This is a new mini notebook computer from BenQ launched at the beginning of this month for people who like to stay in touch with friends while on the go and perform office tasks.

BenQ Lite U101 is optimized for multiple applications, web browsing and online communication, sporting a 10.1-inch widescreen display with LED backlight, optional 3.75G HSUPA wireless connectivity, dual-drive support for SSD and HDD, High Definition support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built-in 1.3MP web camera, 1.5-Watt speakers, VoIP, microphone, and a Linux-based friendly operating system.

BenQ Lite U101 is powered by Intel’s smallest processor chip – Intel Atom – and will be available in stores later this year in the United States. Customers will be able to choose between in sapphire blue, shimmery black, pearly white, or rosy pink for the chassis.

“The way consumers use the Internet has evolved tremendously to where it has become a personal extension of themselves via blogging, networking, video sharing and shopping. The Internet is now a personal pastime and the U101 perfectly fits the budget, style, and interests of those enthusiasts,” said Peter Chen, GM of BenQ Technology Product Center. “It delivers everything they need to enjoy the Internet at an affordable value with take-anywhere portability.”
