So you're in love with the MacBook Pro 17-inch but the only thing stopping both of you from holy matrimony is that little thing called the integrated battery. Well we've got some details on the whole integrated battery thing that should shed some light on it and help you make up your mind whether you are right for each other.

Apple has said that the battery can be recharged 1000 times. After that it will need to be replaced which will set you back $179 plus tax. Further more this can be done at your local Apple store within a business day (appointment necessary), or you can send it in and the job will be completed in about four days.

You always have the option of installing it yourself, but like always unless you're Apple certified you run the risk of voiding your warranty.
