3.5 G VERSION OF FUJITSU LIFEBOOK U2010 IS OUT

The giant Fujitsu recently embedded the latest technology of 3.5g into its newest line of product Fujitsu U2010. Some of the specification sounds extremely impressive such as 3.5G WWAN connectivity along with dual antenna and up to 7.5Mbps downlink. The company name it Super-light, 5.6-inch touch-screen table-convertible UMPC with excellent Intel Centrino Atom Processor technology. For now U2010 is available in Asia Pacific, Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines, in US it is recognized as U820. Company didn’t speak about pricing yet!


Physical Interfaces includes SD Card Slot, Compact Flash Slot and USB2.0. Wireless Interfaces comprises of 802.11 a/b/g and 802.11n. UMPC Portal opinion says it works 3.5hours under bapco is a wifi-off, low screen brightness test. Expect just about 3hrs browsing on this notebook. Battery life is noted as 3.5hrs under Bapco 2007 productivity workload test with the 2-cell battery. Consumer demand of tri-band support UMTS – 580,1900 and 2100 MHz is now full-filled with this machine. Further it Supports quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM - 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz. Its optimal connectivity has built-in Wireless LAN, Fast Ethernet and Bluetooth v2.1. Even the keyboard is standard and typing on your keys is fairly smooth despite small keys. If going for it make sure you have unlimited data plan.
