Raon Digital
has launched recently the Everun Note, the world’s first netbook that features a dual core processor.


Along with the AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual Core CPU at 1.2GHz and ATI graphics, the 1.6-pound Everun Note features a 7-inch touch-screen with a resolution of 1,024-by-600 pixels, up to 24GB of solid state drive or up to 80GB of hard drive space, and 1GB of DDR2 memory.


There are also a 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11b/g wireless, Bluetooth, two USB ports, a Mini USB port, SIM card slot, SD/MMC card reader, and VGA output. Instead of commonly used touchpad, the Note features a small optical pointer.


According to the product specifications, the 5,200mAh Li-Polymer battery enables 2-3 hours of web surfing and 2-2.5 hours of video playback on a single charge.


The netbook runs Windows XP or Ubuntu Linux OS and is available at Dynamism for a starting price of $659.
