Gateway revealed its most recent laptop, the MC series, at a press conference this week. The MC is a stern step-up for Gateway in terms of approach and pleasant appearance. One of the mainly interesting intends features are a strip of black leather sprinting down the center of the lid. Other design features comprise an orange backlit keyboard and brushed aluminum palm rests. The MC versions will feature a 16:9 aspect ratio 16-inch exhibit with resolutions up to complete HD (1920x1080). The panel has a piece of glass over it that distances edge-to-edge, much like the perpetuity displays on HP's HDX laptops.
