Eee PC 3.75G with Wireless High Speed Internet Access

Good news for Asus Eee PC fans! Asus promised to add the 3.75G connectivity module to its Eee PC models to get Easier to Learn, Easier to work and much Easier to play. This feature will be enabled using the High-Speed Uplink Packet Access technology, and the first model that will benefit from it is Asus Eee PC 901 netbook prepared for the release this month.


High-Speed Uplink Packet Access is a 3G technology named by Nokia while the number of netbooks, also known as multimedia Internet devices powered by Intel, is increasing continuously according to customers’ needs.


Future owners of this laptop will be able to use wireless high-speed Internet access all day long thanks to the battery enhancements, and from any place, with no need to find hotspots. It is the wireless mobile broadband connectivity that enables up to 7.2Mbps download speeds and up to 2Mbps upload speeds during 7.5 hours of battery life, thanks to the Super Hybrid Engine.


Asus Eee PC 901 specifications list includes Windows XP Home operating system pre-installed, Intel Atom processor with low power consumption, Wireless Local Area Network 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth for wireless transfers between compatible devices, 1GB DDR2 memory, 16GB shock-proof Solid State Drive or 20GB free online Eee Storage solution, memory card reader, a built-in 1.3MP web camera for video conferences, high definition audio, stereo speakers integrated, Digital Array Mic, and the 6-cell battery.


The netbook featuring wireless high speed Internet access sports a 8.9-inch display, comes in Red, Green, Black, Peony White, Pearl White and Fine Ebony, and measures 225 x 175.5 x 22.7 mm at 1.1Kg.
