Finally we have a notebook case that’s protective, has a professional look, and is checkpoint-friendly. At the airports you always have to open your case to get the laptop out for the routine security check and this might create conditions to damage its exterior. The laptop case i am telling you about comes from Targus, one of the best brands when it comes to choosing a high-quality backpack or case for your portable computer, as it has a 25-years experience in the mobile accessories sector.
Called the Zip-Thru 15.4” Corporate Traveler Laptop Case, it is the company’s first checkpoint-friendly model and there will be released an entire series on the market.
“Our Corporate Traveler line is already a favorite case among business travelers, and adding the new Zip-Thru feature makes it a must-have for anyone who travels with a laptop,” said Al Giazzon, vice president of marketing at Targus. “The new Zip-Thru Corporate Traveler laptop case is the lightest in its class, and features our patented SafePort Air Cushion System, which helps to prevent laptop damage if the bag is dropped or bumped. The unique combination of features emphasizes our dedication to delivering unsurpassed solutions, making the traveling experience smoother and more efficient for travelers.”
The case meets the guidelines establishes by the Transportation Security Administration, meaning it allows for a clear scanning even closed, but the design didn’t sacrifice other important features such as the weight that has to be light, or the shape. When scanned, the case is split down the middle and isolates the laptop on one side. There is also plenty of space for different accessories like cell phones and documents.
This first model from the series will come in black, measuring 16.93 x 6.5 x 13.98 inches at 3.74 pounds. It’s made of durable ballistic 1680 denier nylon and has a starting price of $99.99.
