Western Digital is now shipping its new line of WD Scorpio Black 7,200rpm 2.5-inch SATA 3Gb/s hard drives for high-performance laptops and portable storage devices.
The drives are available in capacities from 80GB to 320GB. The Scorpio Black Series features IntelliSeek, SecurePark, ShockGuard, and WhisperDrive technologies, as well as a free-fall sensor in select models.
MSRP for the WD Scorpio Black hard drives are up to $249.00, depending on capacity and features.
