Intel has listed the pricing for six of the 45nm dual-core laptop processor units that it is scheduling to get underway in late June alongside with its Centrino 2 laptop platform, as per the sources at laptop producers. The processor units will have variant numbers of X9100, T9600, P9500, T9400, P8600 and P9400 and will be tagged at US$851, US$530, US$348, US$316, US$241 and US$209, correspondingly, in thousand-unit plate quantities. In the 3rd quarter, Intel will commence the quad-core Core 2 Extreme QX9300 labeled with a price tag of US$1,038 for the aficionado market, and will tag along with a more reasonably priced Q9100 in the 4th quarter, reveals the sources.
