Toshiba suspends the release date of the "1st" notebook with a 128GB solid-state drive (SSD). Last month, Toshiba was nippy to proclaim that their ultra-light DYNABOOK SS RS1 also known as the ‘Portege R500’ would be the 1st notebook model to come loaded with a 128GB Solid State Drive. Back then, the projected launch dates was on March 25 in the Japanese marketplace and an estimated location of mid-April for common availability in other major markets. Now, we've incorrigible with the reports stating that the launch of the said notebook model with a factory-installed 128GB SSD is further delayed until June 2008.
