This is a new type of portable accessory set consisting of a PXI monitor and keyboard.


Both are portable and mount to the PXI chassis to be used in in-vehicle tests, defence industry, mobile diagnostics or portable ATE systems.


NI PMA-1115 portable touch screen monitor with integrated keyboard provides a 15-inch touch-sensitive LCD display with tilting and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, being capable of operating in between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius.


It wighs 10 pounds and comes with a durable carrying handle and feet, VGA connectivity and compatibility with Windows Vista.


“PXI was the natural choice for the Goalkeeper application within the Royal Dutch Navy,” says Richard van der Weide. “The portable monitor and keyboard accessory provided us with the portability and flexibility we needed to equip our entire fleet with a dependable NI LabVIEW and PXI-based solution. Our naval engineers and technicians are very satisfied with the ease-of-use and performance of the NI FPGA PXI-based systems.”
