During 16-20 April, in Milan, Italy, will take place the Japan Design 2008 exhibition hosted by 15 Japanese companies which focus on design innovation.
Fujitsu will showcase two new innovative laptop designs optimized to be both earth and people friendly.
“In our company booth at this exhibition, we are introducing a portion of our efforts toward sustainable design such as moving away from a reliance on oil and material objects and renewing forest resources with the concept design for a laptop computer using thinned wood for the shell with the “environment” as its theme and our newest laptop computer using bio-based plastic.”
The Woodshell is a laptop computer made of natural materials such as thinned cedar and bio-based plastic, to be eco-friendly and be used for a long time period by its user.
FMV BIBLO NX-SERIES is an advanced portable computer also built of bio-based plastic to replace the oil resources which are already limited.
