Targus provides such a solution with its AMP01US Wireless Multimedia Presenter, a small remote measuring 1.3 x 2 x 4.7 inches, with a 4-pin detachable USB receiver, featuring wireless transmission at up to 50 ft, and powered by two AAA batteries.
It comes with a 3-inch USB extension cable and is available at $67.24.
You can control your laptop from distance using buttons (left, middle, right, trackball, power switch, alt-tab, mode select, Internet and e-mail) for page-up/down, ESC, volume up/down, play/pause, watching the green LED for mouse mode, red LED for presentation mode and yellow LED for multimedia functions.
