Intel's Centrino 2 platform is calendared for launch in the next quarter. Sure, they have little to worry about in the high-end Core 2 DUO and Quad-core Core 2 Extreme as they will explicitly win the performance coronet, but what about the entry-level contributions? Just to make sure that they don't lose in the entry-level notebook market, they have some novel Celeron M offerings with clock speed tuned higher and 667 MHz FSB.
Intel will release 2 new Celeron M CPUs for the Centrino 2 platform in the form of Celeron M 585 and Celeron M 575 - clocking at 2.16GHz and 2GHz respectively. Both will attribute FSB speed of 667MHz and TDP of 31W.
