The next Eee PC version will have a larger screen of 8.9 inches, with 2 inches more in diagonal compared with the existent model, and will feature touch-sensitivity, GPS tracking capability, with a starting price of around $500.
This new information comes from Kevin Lin, the vice president of Asustek sales department, who talked about a release date around May or June.
Running on Intel’s platform, on Windows XP operating system, and with 1GB memory, integrating a Solid State Drive of up to 12GB, the next-generation Eee PC will be more appreciated than it is now and Asus expects the sales to grow very fast after the launching.
