After getting a taste of the new upcoming ultraportable e4000 series laptops, DELL has lots more surprises leaked showing the upcoming Latitude laptop lineage.

Introducing to you, the all new Dell Latitude E5000 and E6000 series of laptops.

The Latitude E6500 is a 15.4" screen laptop while the E6400 is a 14.1" display laptop. The 6000 series can be deemed the high-end Latitudes that will replace the subsisting under specked Latitude D630 (14.1") and D830 (15.4"). The 6000 series variants offer a slew of new features listed upon such as integrated GPS, LED backlit display option, hard/hybrid/SSD storage drive options, eSATA connections for quick data transfers, UWB, Bluetooth 2.1, and mobile broadband. All claiming that you get to stay connected all along. Combine all of that with a high capacity 84Whr "all-day" battery, and you have one true full-size road combatant’s instrument.

The Latitude E5000 series will consist of the Latitude E5500 15.4" sized display and E5400 14.1" sized display laptops. These will be of the lower spec machines compared to the E6000 series and will replace the current running D531 and D530 budget business notebooks that are intended to catch-up a market share of the budget class laps. With the all new series of launches, DELL is definitely stamping its authority with the laptop market starting even from the budget class. All the specifications if transferred to the performance strata then this will be a sonic boom for the company.
