Dell Inspiron 1526 was released earlier this year and now comes the Inspiron 1525 with the same screen diagonal of 15.4 inches and with high definition support via the HDMI port, at 720p resolution.

The notebook has optional Blu-ray disc drive which allows you to store 50GB of data on a single disc, as well as play HD videos on your PC using the Broadcom Media PC technology and the built-in dedicated accelerator in the mini-card slot.

Dell lets you customize your notebook with an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 processor at 2GHz, Windows Vista operating system, up to 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM memory, Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, up to 250GB S-ATA drive, a built-in 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, USB, modem, a 8-in-1 card reader, VGA, S-Video, ExpressCard slot, dual microphones, dual headphone jacks, and different Wi-Fi connectivity module such as a mini card, Dell Wireless 5720 EVDO Rev A mobile broadband or Dell Wireless 5510 HSPDA.

Powered by a 9-cell Li-Ion Battery the Inspiron 1525 consumes approximately 85WHr and depending on the final configuration its weight starts at 2.70 kg.

Dell offers the notebook model at a price under $1,000 in US, Canada and Europe, with various housing color options and design patterns.
