Acer released its new Gemstone blue design created by Gianfranco Lanci, with the launching of two notebook models that introduce unusual display dimensions: the 18.4-inch Acer Aspire 8920 and 16-inch Aspire 6920.

Same as the Aspire 8920, the 6920 features high definition support, Blu-Ray Disc drives, the CineDash touch-sensitive interface with navigation menus, volume adjustment and media control, and Dolby Home Theater technology with CineSurround, Tuba CineBass booster, and True5.1 output.

Aspire 6920 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and integrates the Intel PM965 Express Chipset, HDMI port with HDCP, wireless connectivity based on the Acer SignalUp with InviLink Nplify wireless technologies, showing a 16:9 display with Full HD CineCrystal LCD panel with 1920×1080 resolution or a HD CineCrystal LCD screen at 1366×768 pixel resolution, and 8 ms response time.

It features a storage capacity of up to 320GB, the DVD super multi double layer optical drive option in case you don’t choose the Bly-ray, TV tuner, and a 6-in-1 card reader.

The operating system pre-installed is Windows Vista.
