ASUS M50 and ASUS M70 are the first notebooks to come with one Terrabyte of hard disk storage and AuthenTec, a leader in the fingerprint sensor and security solutions industry announced that the latest ASUS models will come with its technology to add a powerful protection layer to the two entertainment notebooks.
One Terrabyte equals one trillion bytes and it’s a huge capacity in which you could store around 1000 hours of video, or in other words 350 full-length cinema movies, or 150000 standard length songs, and so on.
The exact fingerprint sensor model equipping the ASUS notebooks is AuthenTec AES1610, an advanced security solution which has been chosen by ASUS to protect such a huge amount of stored data, by reading below the skin’s surface to the live layer where the defined fingerprints reside.
This is done via the TruePrint technology.
