At CES 2008, Asus is exposing its latest notebook, Asus U2E, a 11-inch model weighting 2lb and with a 32GB SSD drive, which makes it one of the most resistant and reliable systems on the market.
Using the LED backlit display technology, it is also energy efficient, but besides this, the company wanted to maintain the same luxury level of its U series, providing a polished platted hinge made of stainless steel and premium black leather on the exterior to add a unique style and look.
The notebook features smart logon face recognition via the built-in high resolution web camera with the smallest lenses available.
SmartLogon software recognizes and grants access only to the right notebook owner, after the positive scanning process.
